Managing a custom CMS is hard

EDIT @ 4/25/2021: This was written when my website was written in Angular here.

Hi, hi, hullo!

I's been a while since I've written on here.

So I built this some 3 / 4 years ago when Angular.js was the way to build web SPAs. I being young(er) and impressionable, decided to build my own CMS for my blog posts and musings.

I was largely successful; it works a charm and I gained a level of mastery over Angular and Javascript in general. Angular.js is just not what is used to be though, it's been rebooted and the sequels aren't backwards compatible. It's also not quite what it used to be either, with React.js and Vue.js vying for the flavor of the day.

I don't quite feel like refactoring this entire project to use one of the newer frameworks just yet, I enjoy Android development a tad more and most of my code is written for Android these days.

I still write though... just not here lol. Medium is a very mature platform, and the feedback via claps and comments make for a much more fulfilling writing experience than something I would want to build myself. So, I've decided to move my writing there, till the day I decide to build my own CMS and then I'll have a moving on from Medium post, a la moving from WordPress here lol.

Find me on Medium here!
